To start things off

To begin this journey into the 21st century and embark on this whole blogging thing... I thought I would give you a little insight into where I am in my life at this very moment... More to come on this, I promise... but to start, I am posting these lyrics from the song 'Fill Me Up' by Staind. I am posting the lyrics, but also posting a link to the video of Aaron Lewis performing this song live and acoustic as that is the version that holds a special place in my heart. Some major shit went down a few months ago and really gave me a run for my money emotionally. Thankfully, the soothing sound of Aaron, whether screaming obscenities or softly singing, always brings me to my happy place. This particular song radiated through my body and made a nice little home in my heart. This also was the basis for my most recent tattoo. The meaning behind the tattoo is really only fully understood by me, but I'm sure if you are even slightly smarter than a toothpick, you can see where I'm going with it. Anyhoo...
